After becoming a
parent, she became more convinced of the applicability of leadership
wisdom to parenting. She delivers speeches, coaching sessions, and
workshops that make leadership development accessible, engaging, and
practical. She co-authored a field guide that supports the best selling
book, The Leadership Challenge, by Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner. She
also co-founded Pinehurst Consulting, an organization development
and training consulting firm. She serves on the Advisory Board of
Working Mother Media.
